Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as a Safety Specialist. This position will be located in Rolla, MO.
Summary:
Safety Specialists play a pivotal role in orchestrating and optimizing various projects and programs within the company. They are responsible for coordinating activities, ensuring timely execution, and driving successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Handle tasks for multiple projects and medium-sized programs, including helping to develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and strategies to ensure successful execution.
- Provide support to junior team members by helping with training and offering guidance as needed to ensure team success.
- Help identify and address project or program risks, track performance metrics, and provide input to improve outcomes.
- Act as a point of contact for key stakeholders, helping to maintain clear communication and ensure alignment with expectations.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including regular reports and performance analyses, for management and stakeholders.
- Oversee project and program budgets, assist in forecasting financial needs, track expenses, and ensure projects stay within budget.
- Support large-scale facility projects, including renovations and maintenance, by coordinating tasks and ensuring activities are carried out efficiently.
- Coordinate with project and safety managers to ensure projects comply with applicable codes and safety requirements.
- Provide knowledge in facilities management and project coordination, offering guidance to project teams and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices.
- Develop, implement, and monitor maintenance plans, upgrades, and facility improvements, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards and assist with audits, inspections, and corrective actions as needed to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct data analysis and manage the entry of project data, ensuring accuracy and consistency while providing actionable insights that inform decision-making and improve project outcomes.
- Manage administrative tasks such as organizing project documentation, preparing compliance reports, and maintaining accurate data records, ensuring all materials are organized, up to date, and in line with legal and organizational requirements.
- Identify, develop, and implement improvements to data management practices and operational processes, driving efficiency, consistency, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Monitor and assess the quality of project data and operational processes, ensuring they meet or exceed established quality standards and industry benchmarks.
- Lead training initiatives for team members on best practices for data management, project tools, and operational workflows, enhancing team performance and process optimization.
Education & Credentials:
- High school diploma and 6+ years' experience in a related role or
- Associate’s degree in project management, business administration, or related field and 4+ years’ experience or
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or related field or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
