Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a specialty in Medical Surgical Oncology.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
The nurse will work the night shift, providing care to patients in a medical oncology setting.
Responsibilities include managing patients with various oncology diagnoses, including sepsis, cellulitis, and liver cirrhosis.
Skills required include administering blood products, managing central lines, and providing patient and family education.
The nurse will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy and social services.
A commitment to patient advocacy and quality care is essential.
Candidates should be prepared to manage complex cases and participate in comfort care where needed.
Knowledge of infection control practices and compliance with safety protocols is crucial.
