Please review the following job description:Responsible for the sales and marketing of Truist Mortgage Loan products within bank policies and procedures, as well as consistent, effective referrals of mortgage clients for other bank services, including the qualifying package of services and insurance products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRequired Qualifications:
- 1+ year experience in banking and/or lending environment with basic knowledge of residential property types.
- Good organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Solid interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
- Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment, including new or transfer of registration, and pass applicable NMLS background check.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related studies, or equivalent financial sales experience.
- Two or more years of experience in residential mortgage lending with solid local market and regulatory knowledge.
- Previous sales awards and leadership roles.
Sitting, Standing, Walking, Bending, Lifting up to 25 lbs.
Visual, Audio, Speaking:
Able to interpret client information and communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding:
Able to work with standard office equipment.
Availability:
Able to work all scheduled hours, including overtime as directed.
Travel:
Up to 75%.
