Travel Speech Therapist - Inpatient

American Traveler seeks an Inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist with Georgia licensure and BLS certification for a Level II Trauma Center hospital.

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Georgia required if applicable
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Minimum 12 months core work experience in specialty area with most recent experience within the last year
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight treating common diagnoses
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• At least 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

• Inpatient Rehabilitation Services department within a 304-bed hospital
• Level II Trauma Center and Level III NICU facility with specialty centers for pediatrics and wound care
• Patient caseload of 8-11 patients per therapist per day
• Treats orthopedics, debility, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, fractures, post-op, and cardiac diagnoses
• Performs Modified Barium Swallow tests and Fiber optic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEEs)
• EPIC EMR system used for documentation
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
• No floating, weekend rotation, on-call requirements, or holiday expectations
• 13-week schedule cycle
• Join a Rehab department with over 20 therapists and aides working daily alongside on-site administration
• Facility-level orientation (NEO) plus 3-5 days of departmental orientation depending on experience
• Light grey scrubs required per approved facility list

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted with no radius rule for Georgia facilities, offering the same rate as traveling candidates
• Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved if extending contract to accommodate clinical interviewing
