Scope of Position: The Guest Room Attendant works independently and without direct supervision to maintain the highest quality guest experience by cleaning and preparing guest rooms, public areas, offices, and other locations on the mountain campus.

Reports to: Team Leader, Housekeeping and Laundry

• Cleans guest rooms, performs stayovers, turnovers, and checkouts as assigned within standard guidelines for cleaning
• Cleans public areas and offices as assigned within standard guidelines for cleaning
• Reports work orders via Facilities work order system
• Performs quality cleaning to meet required standards within set time limits
• Inspects storage rooms and room attendant carts for neatness, cleanliness, adequate supplies, and good repair
• Inspects public areas and guest rooms and trains new housekeepers
• Performs seasonal deep cleaning of facilities as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Leadership
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 0 to 3 years previous housekeeping experience
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
• Ability to stand, bend, stretch, climb stairs, and do much walking
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self‑discipline and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of computer skills and/or knowledge of a property management system or housekeeping system
• Commitment to being present at appropriate times to work — all shifts, all days
