Engineering Manager

Core Linen Services is a leader in hospital and hospitality laundry processing services around the country. Our focus is on service, quality and safety which enable our clients to provide essential services to their patients and guests. The Company operates across 20+ states and is a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital, based in Miami, FL.

As an Engineering Manager for the Core Linen Services you are expected to organize and direct programs to maintain the facility and mechanical operations of the laundry plant through appropriate utilization of resources and delegation of responsibility. Oversee and coordinate these activities while ensuring a safe, clean and efficient operation. Plan the course of these activities to meet financial/budgetary and regulatory requirements.

Ensure the quality of service provided is exceptional. Maintain active and satisfactory working relationships with the rest of the management team, committees, and staff. Provide leadership and guidance in the overall operation of the plant.

• Responsible for all Preventative Maintenance programs for equipment
• Responsible for helping technicians troubleshoot electrical or maintenance issues
• Responsible for all Corrective Maintenance issues
• May be required to work long hours in emergency situations
• Work in all areas of the facility
• Work as a member of a team with the rest of the management team and the staff
• Work nights, weekends and holidays as required
• Perform any other job-related duties requested by the General Manager

• BS Degree in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical engineering, or equivalent relative experience preferred
• 2 years industrial maintenance background
• 2 years in a management/supervisory capacity
• Working knowledge of maintenance management in a commercial laundry or industrial / manufacturing setting
• Possess emotional maturity, honesty and reliability, as well as demonstrate strong leadership abilities
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
• Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, power Point and Outlook
