SUPERBA OPERATOR - B SHIFT (Rome, GA, United States)

Join Mohawk Industries as a SUPERBA Operator on the B Shift to safely operate heatset machinery and support our commitment to quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

• Safely operate heat set machinery to meet and exceed quality, production, and efficiency goals.
• Maintain daily production records and operate both creeling and winding sides when needed.
• Inspect finished yarn packages and ensure no mix‑ups using black light checks.
• Proactively identify yarn quality during production runs and select and stage tubes for winder operation.
• Attend job‑related training and follow all standard operating and safety procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping duties and any additional tasks assigned by management.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Successful completion of required on‑the‑job training and health & environmental safety training.
• Previous yarn or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic math skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Long periods of bending, squatting, climbing, and moving equipment in an industrial environment.
• Exposure to chemicals, machine noise, dust, fumes, and variable temperatures.
