Overview
The Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing the nursing process based on expanded knowledge and experience. The nurse provides age-appropriate patient care including child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, addressing biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and patient/family educational needs. The role includes critical care responsibilities such as continuous cardiac monitoring, emergency care management, continuous IV infusion, ventilator management, invasive line management, and assisting patients with activities of daily living.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care across the age spectrum (child to geriatric) with a focus on safe, effective nursing practice.
- Perform and monitor critical care tasks including continuous cardiac monitoring, emergency care, IV infusion management, ventilator support, and invasive line care.
- Assist patients with ADLs and coordinate with the healthcare team to meet patient and family education needs.
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. - Experience:
Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred. - Licensure/Certification:
Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or Alabama as determined by job location; ACLS and BCLS certification. - Interpersonal requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills; commitment to customer service; effective communication with patients, families, and all members of the health care team.
$34.90 - $52.35 per hour
