The Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing the nursing process based on expanded knowledge and experience. The role includes providing age-appropriate patient care for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, addressing biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational needs. The RN provides critical care, including continuous cardiac monitoring, emergency management, IV infusion, ventilator management, invasive line management, and patient ADLs.
The qualified candidate will possess the following:
- A graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Experience
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
Licensure/Certification
- A licensed Registered Nurse in Georgia or Alabama, depending on job location
- ACLS and BCLS certification
Interpersonal requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to customer service
- Effective communication with all applicable customers and age groups
- Ability to work effectively with patients and families, maintaining cooperative relationships with medical staff and team members
