5W Cardiac Stepdown, a 34‑bed high‑acuity unit located within Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center, specializes in the care of patients with complex cardiac conditions, including myocardial infarctions, heart failure exacerbations, arrhythmias, and post‑cardiac procedures such as catheterizations and device placements.

• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Cardiac/critical care experience preferred

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using evidence‑based nursing practice, ensuring safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Apply clinical decision‑making, compassion, and strong communication skills to create a safe patient environment and deliver an outstanding patient experience across the continuum of care.
