Job Description- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychosocial, environmental, and developmental health status.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely, monitor patient responses, and document all related activities accurately.
- Document patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes in medical records to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, specialists, and support staff to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care delivery.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations to stabilize and provide necessary care to patients.
- Monitor patient status continuously, noting any significant changes or concerns, and report findings to the healthcare team.
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary data and materials are prepared.
- Promote a safe environment by identifying and addressing potential safety hazards for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, monitor patient outcomes, and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel based on their competence and scope of practice, ensuring safe and efficient care delivery.
- High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
- Technical/Vocational School (Required)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
- Basic EKG Certification (BEKG) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
- IV Certified (IV) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
