Registered Nurse (RN) | General Surgery/Trauma Step Down Unit | Days. Join our 36-bed General Surgery/Trauma Step-Down Unit at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center, where we care for patients recovering from complex surgical procedures and traumatic injuries. We deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a collaborative environment that supports professional growth and autonomy.

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery.
• Participate in unit-based initiatives and quality improvement efforts.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current valid Georgia nursing license or eNLC nursing license
• BLS
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
