Join our 36-bed General Surgery/Trauma Step-Down Unit at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center, where we care for patients recovering from complex surgical procedures and traumatic injuries. We deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a collaborative environment that supports professional growth and autonomy.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery.
- Participate in unit-based initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current valid Georgia nursing license or eNLC nursing license
- BLS
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
