Nurse Manager AHF Preoperative Optimization Center – Atrium Health Floyd

Location:

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center – Presurgical Testing. Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Pay range: $50,050 – $75,100.

The Clinical Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the unit. This includes monitoring staffing and supply usage within budgetary constraints, directing clinical care (age‑specific care for child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients), and planning for growth and development of unit services. The Clinical Manager will have 24‑hour responsibility for supervision of the area, work to assure compliance with all JCAHO standards, and promote continuous improvement in patient care processes.

The Clinical Manager will collaborate with the Director to provide input into long‑term human resource planning and financial planning for the unit.

Qualifications
  • Education:

    Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution; BSN desirable.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of two years of managerial experience at unit level.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    Current RN licensure in the applicable state; ACLS and BCLS certification required.
