Emergency Veterinarian – Rome, Georgia

A well-established emergency hospital in Rome, Georgia is seeking a dedicated and motivated Emergency Veterinarian to join its growing team as it expands its services.

This role offers the chance to practice high-quality emergency medicine in a collaborative, supportive environment that encourages professional growth and development. Whether you’re an experienced ER doctor or a general practitioner ready to transition into emergency care, you’ll receive mentorship and hands-on guidance from a skilled, compassionate team. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide urgent and emergency medical care to companion animals
  • Perform diagnostics, develop treatment plans, and carry out emergency procedures
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with pet owners and colleagues
  • Collaborate with fellow veterinarians and support staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes
  • Maintain medical records and uphold high standards of care in every case
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree
  • Active or eligible Georgia veterinary license
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with a passion for emergency medicine
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
  • Commitment to continuous professional learning and development
