Chemical Quality Assurance Laboratory Technologist

Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Own documentation? Close and track work orders accurately and on schedule.
  • Make shipping effortless? Print, deliver, and apply labels to containers so early AM shipments (customers and inter‑site) depart without a hitch.
  • Support around the clock? Provide (AM or PM) QC lab coverage with record keeping, filing, and basic quality testing.
  • Run the tools? Safely operate laboratory equipment and maintain a spotless, compliant workspace.
  • Collaborate fluidly? Work with the Commercial Team and Customer Service to send out requested product samples (SC).
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or higher; advanced education preferred but not required in lieu of lab/medical experience and/or a blend of education and training.
  • Polished interpersonal skills and a team‑first approach.
  • About a year (preferred) in quality‑oriented or data entry roles such as packaging, laboratory testing, logistics, customer service, or medical.
  • Foundational knowledge of QA principles and practices.
  • Solid basic math skills and strong observational ability.
  • Comfort consulting others to quickly resolve issues and shifting smoothly with changing priorities.
  • Proficiency with common computer applications.
  • A courteous, professional demeanor that reflects the company well.
When and how you’ll work
  • Role type:
    Individual contributor (no direct reports).
  • Hours:

    Monday–Friday, 4:00 pm–12:00 am.
  • Training:
    First 1–2 months on first shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm.
Location & Working Conditions

Mostly indoors in a temperature‑controlled lab, with movement through plant areas of varying temperatures and humidity. PPE is provided and required. Expect occasional exposure to noise, dust, vapor, and fumes. The Company is committed to eliminating these conditions to the extent possible through the application of design engineering and provides safety equipment to keep all associates safe and within OSHA standards.
