This position assists in the setup and management of science laboratories across campus sites.

• Prepare materials, solutions and equipment for labs
• Clean materials, equipment and models
• Assist in receiving and inventory of laboratory materials
• Monitor laboratory supplies and inventory; reorder as needed
• Set up new labs at satellite campuses as required
• Perform duties related to the mission of the school and department

• Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with high school completion or equivalent
• Experience with basic laboratory practices; typically one to two years in a similar role or apprenticeship
• Current student at Georgia Highlands College
• PELL grant eligible

• Maintenance and operation of laboratory equipment
• Use of computer and job‑related software programs
• Science laboratory safety procedures
• Analytical problem‑solving and solution implementation
• Oral and written communication skills

$12.00 per hour
