Sr. Product Designer

Sr. Product Designer ut the role Eight Sleep is building the future of sleep fitness through integrated hardware and AI software. We are looking for a staff-level individual contributor to define the visual and functional standards for our mobile application. You will work closely with the Executive Creative Director to elevate our product interface and establish the benchmark for quality across our digital ecosystem.

What you’ll do   Lead the end-to-end design process for the Eight Sleep app, covering everything from interaction architecture to final visual execution.
Manage and iterate on the product design system, including all tokens, patterns, and component rules.
Simplify complex biometric and health data into premium, intuitive user interfaces.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and brand departments to maintain a unified aesthetic.
Establish the quality bar for all product surfaces, serving as the primary reference point for the design team.
Build functional prototypes to test interactions and flows before moving to development.
Requirements   8 to 12 years of professional experience in UI and product design.
A portfolio showcasing high-level visual craft and interaction design.
Proven background in designing data-heavy consumer applications, specifically within the health or biometrics space.
Advanced proficiency in Figma for system building, prototyping, and design.
Strong understanding of motion design and screen transitions.
Demonstrated active use of AI design tools such as Cursor and Claude in your daily workflow.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment without rigid process structures.
A clear, defensible perspective on product design excellence.
