About the Role
We are seeking a recently graduated engineer who is interested in pursuing an internship as a buyer. In this role, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to learn and gain practical experience in managing the procurement process. This includes supporting supplier selection, assisting with quotation requests, participating in commercial negotiations, and learning how to manage purchase orders using ERP tools.
Main Responsibilities
Support the Analysis of Internal Purchasing Needs:
Assist in evaluating and understanding the organization's requirements for mechanical components and other materials.
Support the request and evaluation of Commercial Offers:
Help request quotations from suppliers and assess the competitiveness and suitability of received offers, verifying their alignment with project target costs.
Support in issuing Purchase Orders and monitor Deliveries:
Manage the issuance of purchase orders and track the status of deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
Maintain Supplier Relationships and Evaluate Performance:
Help foster positive relationships with suppliers and contribute to ongoing evaluations of their performance.
Support Research and Selection of Suppliers:
Contribute to identifying and selecting suitable suppliers to meet purchasing needs.
Verify Documentation and Support Supplier Accounting:
Review and verify relevant procurement documentation and assist with supplier‑related accounting processes.
Collaborate with Warehouse and Quality Teams:
Work closely with warehouse and quality assurance teams to facilitate material inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Successfully graduated in engineering (mechanical, management)
Have a deep interest in technology, R&D and innovation
Are seeking a role where they can combine technical, analytical as well as negotiation skills
Are proficient both in English and Italian
