Senior Cloud Engineer – Open Stack

with proven experience in designing & implementing complex cloud infrastructures based on Open Stack & in managing automation through Terraform & Ansible Kolla. The role involves working within structured project environments, covering all operational phases: detailed design, implementation, standardization, documentation & handover/testing with operational teams. Field: provider of complex proprietary cloud platforms

Key Responsibilities

- Develop detailed designs for cloud solutions aligned with engineering architecture guidelines
- Implement cloud infrastructures based on Open Stack & develop automation using Ansible Kolla & Terraform
- Standardize configurations, procedures & operational processes
- Prepare technical documentation, including operational guides, technical diagrams & standards
- Conduct testing & handover activities to operational teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud platforms

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer
- Background as a Systems Engineer, with strong expertise in Linux systems & distributed infrastructures
- In-depth knowledge of Open Stack
- Advanced experience with Terraform & Kolla

- Experience with private cloud or proprietary CSP environments
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
