Project Engineer, Electrical Engineering

Trillium Pumps Italy is looking for a Project Engineer The Project Engineer is the figure most focused on projects’ technical compliance. Starting from the project specifications analysis she/he is firstly focused on centrifugal pumps and buyout technical alignment during the entire “quote to cash” process, starting during the bidding phase up to goods shipment and final documentation closure. The technical issues can’t ignore time and cost that are the project’ success factors and require a close cooperation within the Commercial Operations team.

She/he is the technical referent for customers and suppliers and as such she/he can be involved in several kind of meetings, alone or supporting the Project Manager.

Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:

Customer’s MR (Material

Requisition ) analysis

VDL (Vendor Document List) and SDL (Supplier Document List) definition

Supplier’s MR drafting and sending to suppliers obtaining their quotations

Supporting the technical alignment phase of the engineered subcomponents (seals & systems, drivers, lube oil systems, gears, control panels and so on)
Managing Customers’ “Technical Queries”, clarifications and deviations over project specifications

Launching and coordinating of the project starting from internal kick of meeting according to company procedures

Handling the project’s technical risk analysis

Issue and revision of the relevant project documents (such as Pump Data Sheet) up to customer approval

Support Project Manager on handling potential Change Orders from costs estimation up to quote submission

Interaction with product engineering team and other specialist such as Instrumentation & Control Engineers and Welding Engineers Assure uniformity, consistency and conformity of all the project documentation

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.

Excellent internal communication skills. Good Customer facing attitude. Organizational skills including attention to details and multitasking skills.

Knowledge of English language Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

SAP knowledge is considered a plus
