NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called:
Strengthened strategic, institutional, and operational capacity for effective energy policy in response to the climate change in North Macedonia and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The overall objective of this assignment is to contribute to sustainable economic development of North Macedonia.

Location:

North Macedonia.
Duration:
The intended start date is 1 December 2026 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 42 months from this date.

Minimum

Qualifications and skills:

Minimum Masters in a directly related discipline, or Bachelor in the same field plus four years of relevant professional experience.
Excellent spoken and written English, corresponding to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

General professional experience:

Minimum 8 but preferably 10 years of professional experience in a field related to energy.

Specific professional experience:

Experience in at least 3 assignments related to, inter alia, electricity such as legislative and institutional framework, electricity market, generation, RES integration, balancing, transmission, distribution, tariffs and price regulation, decarbonisation of the power system, energy communities, digitalisation.
Experience on assignments in EU MS bodies or other contracting parties of the Energy Community Treaty, will be considered an advantage.
