Overview In this role you lead and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessments for photovoltaic and agrivoltaic projects in Italy, ensuring alignment with national and regional rules. You work with Development, Engineering, Permitting and Legal teams to integrate environmental measures and monitor conditions through development and construction. Your focus is on regulatory compliance, territorial integration, and safeguarding agricultural activities, while contributing to Solaria’s innovation in Italy.

This role offers strategic impact on project permitting and environmental strategy within a growing renewable energy portfolio.

Benefits Prepare, coordinate and supervise EIA/VIA for photovoltaic and agrivoltaic projects in line with Italian regulations

Assess agronomic compatibility and impacts on soil, crops, biodiversity and agriculture

Manage interactions with Regioni, Comuni, Soprintendenze, ARPA and authorities during permitting

Identify environmental risks and define preventive, corrective and compensatory measures

Coordinate technical studies (fauna, flora, landscape, hydrology, soil, cultural heritage) and integrate into environmental documentation

Conduct field visits, territorial analyses and monitor environmental conditions during development and construction

Collaborate with Development, Engineering, Permitting and Legal teams for regulatory coherence

Contribute to defining environmental criteria for agrivoltaic projects and support continual improvement

Qualifications3‑5 years of experience in Environmental Impact Assessments within the renewable energy sector in Italy Strong knowledge of VIA/VAS procedures, national legislation (D.Lgs. 152/2006) and regional regulations

Experience in agrivoltaic projects and assessing impacts on agricultural activities

Ability to coordinate consultancies, technical studies and multidisciplinary teams

Experience engaging with Italian public authorities and local stakeholders

Analytical, structured and results‑oriented profile

Experience with GIS, territorial analysis or environmental modelling

Native Italian, professional English, and additional languages considered an asset
