MECHANICAL CAD DESIGN ENGINEER - AVIATION DOMAIN

Job Location:

Brindisi Area, Italy Role overview

The selected resource - going through an intense onboarding process aimed at developing appropriate customer products’ knowledge, working methodologies and CAD skills - will be directly engaged in the engineering project activities, with increasing levels of autonomy and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities Modeling simple and complex mechanical components;
Modeling simpleand complex assemblies;
Drafting activities;
Learn, understand, and apply our customer’s standard procedures;
Concurrent Engineering.

Required Skills & Experience Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering; 1-3 years’ experience in the field of CAD modeling & detailing, using UG NX10 (and above);

Experience with Teamcenter 11 (and above);
Experience in creating 3D models & drawings;

Experience with engineering bill of material creation, update and modification;
Knowledge of manufacturing drawings creation, and drawing reading skills;
Knowledge of the geometric & dimension tolerances;
Familiarity/understanding of industry codes and standards such as ASME Y14.5;
Fluent in English and Italian.

Due to the nature of work, candidates should be Italian Citizens.
