At Elmya, an international EPC company in the renewable energy sector, we are looking for a Junior Business Developer to join our team in Italy. This position is designed for a recently graduated candidate who is interested in developing a professional career in business development and sales within the renewable energy sector, particularly in solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
The selected candidate will support the Business Development team in identifying opportunities, developing commercial activities, and participating in the growth of the company in the Italian market.
Main responsibilities:
Support the identification and analysis of new business opportunities in the Italian market
Assist in the development of commercial strategies for EPC solar PV and BESS projects
Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals
Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement and construction)
Support the development and maintenance of relationships with clients, partners and subcontractors
Conduct market research and competitor analysis
Participate in meetings with clients and project stakeholders
Support general business development and commercial activities
Requirements:
Recently graduated or final-year student in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Energy or similar) or related technical degree
Strong interest in renewable energy and commercial/business development roles
Good level of English or Spanish;
Italian fluency required
Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work in a dynamic environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing priorities
Availability to travel if required
Based in Rome
