Your new role
As our new Senior EHS Consultant , you will support the delivery of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Due Diligence and Compliance projects for private equity, corporate and financial clients across a variety of industrial sectors. You will work closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to assess EHS risks and liabilities, conduct compliance reviews and audits, and support transaction-related advisory services throughout the M&A lifecycle.
The role requires a strong understanding of both environmental and occupational health & safety regulations, together with the ability to identify material EHS risks, evaluate compliance status, and communicate findings effectively to clients and stakeholders.
Candidates can work in a fully hybrid working pattern from our Rome or Milan office in line with our flexible working policy.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Conduct Environmental, Health & Safety Due Diligence assessments in support of mergers, acquisitions, divestments and financing transactions.
Perform EHS compliance audits and site assessments across a wide range of industrial and commercial facilities.
Review environmental permitting, regulatory compliance obligations, and management systems.
Evaluate occupational health & safety programs, risk assessments, contractor management processes, and related documentation.
Support the identification, quantification, and prioritization of EHS risks, liabilities and improvement opportunities.
Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals and client deliverables in Italian and English.
Participate in site visits, client meetings, presentations and interactions with external stakeholders, including legal advisors, investors, operators and regulators.
Contribute to the continuous development of the team.
Support business development activities, proposal preparation and client relationship management.

These include:
A Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Health & Safety Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of professional experience in EHS consulting, compliance, auditing, due diligence or related advisory services.
Demonstrated experience in conducting EHS compliance audits and site assessments.
Sound knowledge of Italian environmental and occupational health & safety legislation, including Legislative Decree 152/2006 and Legislative Decree 81/2008.
Experience supporting EHS Due Diligence projects within the M&A, transaction advisory or investment environment.
Strong analytical, report-writing and project execution skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
