Compensation: 35,€Role Descritption We are seeking an Energy Engineer to support the techno-economic analysis and market assessment activities supporting the development and commercialization of Sinergy Flow's innovative energy storage technology. This role is intended for a professional with a strong analytical background, capable of translating technical system performance into compelling business cases across different applications and energy markets. The Energy Engineer will be responsible for developing simulation models, evaluating use cases, and identifying the key economic and operational drivers that maximize the value proposition of the technology.
The role will bridge engineering and market strategy by providing quantitative insights that support product positioning, customer engagement, and strategic decision-making.
The position combines energy systems modeling, market intelligence, techno-economic assessment, and cross-functional collaboration, contributing to the definition of product strategy and the validation of high-impact commercial opportunities.
Responsibilities Develop techno-economic models to evaluate the performance and profitability of Sinergy Flow's energy storage solutions
Analyze electricity markets, regulatory frameworks, and revenue streams across different countries and applications
Perform simulations of specific case studies to assess economic feasibility under different operating scenarios
Support the definition and continuous refinement of the company's value proposition through data-driven analysis
Benchmark competing technologies and alternative energy storage solutions from both technical and economic perspectives
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and analyses supporting commercial activities and strategic decisions
QualificationsMSc or PhD in Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field2+ years of experience in energy systems analysis, techno-economic assessment, or energy market modeling
Strong understanding of electricity markets, energy storage systems, and distributed energy resources
Experience with simulation tools and data analysis environments (e.G., Python, MATLAB, Excel, or similar)
Experience analyzing business cases for renewable energy, energy storage, or industrial energy systems
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex technical and economic concepts to multidisciplinary teams
Excellent written and spoken English
