Senior Manager Government Affairs & Market Access, Europe South

Experteer Overview In this role you drive government affairs and market access for South Europe (Spain, Italy, Portugal) to accelerate commercialization and expand patient access. You’ll work with regional leadership to shape policy, advocate for Stryker’s products, and build relationships with lawmakers and trade associations. You will guide health economics strategies and collaborate across functions to align policies with business goals.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional position that influences pricing, tenders, and payer engagement in a dynamic policy landscape. You will operate in a leadership-capacity within the regional team, delivering strategic value for growth and access.

Retribuzione / Benefits Collaborate with regional leadership to implement government affairs and market access strategy for growth and brand building in South Europe Lead government affairs and advocacy projects to support product adoption in the region

Engage with trade associations and support Stryker representatives on boards

Position Stryker as a thought leader and build relationships with lawmakers and policy influencers

Assess public policy risks and opportunities in the region and advise business leaders

Guide the design of clinical and economic studies to meet market access requirements of payers

Identify and drive market access and reimbursement opportunities for technologies

Establish health economic data collection and analysis plans to demonstrate value and support hospital negotiations

Support market access through external relationships including tenders, pricing, and payer requirements

Provide SME guidance on market access and health economics strategy to South European leadership teams

Collaborate cross-functionally to embed market access considerations into business strategy and build capability

Responsabilità

Master in Political Science, Law, Health Economics, Health Sciences, or comparable qualification6-8 years of experience in politics, government, or life sciences

Experience in government agencies or legislative offices and/or government affairs in corporate, trade association, or multi-client environments

Fluent in English and Spanish or Italian Deep understanding of policy development, health policy, and medical technology policy is preferred

Experience representing a company to trade associations and government officials

Proven track record leading government affairs projects

Strong knowledge of payers, reimbursement bodies, HTA, and market access strategies

Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication across levels including executives

Negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure

Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams
