We are expanding our AI and Data Science competence center and need a Data Scientist Manager to act as a technical leader and mentor within teams, ensuring project quality and promoting best practices for clients in the Energy sector’s innovative processes.
Responsibilities will include:
Designing, developing and implementing predictive models and advanced algorithms
Coordinating integration and optimization with Data Engineers and junior Data Scientists
Architecting projects in collaboration with Solution Architects, solving technical and strategic problems, and ensuring scalable, efficient solution delivery
Developing statistical‑mathematical models, machine‑learning models and IA technologies
Managing data lifecycle and data‑mining techniques
Creating the analytical solution
Collaborating agilely with Data Engineers for complex projects requiring database preparation
Qualifiche
University degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Engineering, Informatics or related STEM fields
At least 2 years of experience in the role and 5 years as a Data Scientist
Ability to select the most suitable and effective methods and models to guide strategic choices and develop operational evolution plans
Requisiti necessari
Knowledge of SAS 9.4, SAS Viya 3.5/4.0, SAS EG, SAS Studio
Knowledge of SQL
Good knowledge of SAS Viya architecture, Data Reporting and job execution usage
Reporting data in the most suitable form to support strategic management decisions, focusing on synthesis and effective visualization
Ability to manage small‑to‑medium teams
Requisiti facoltativo
Experience in similar areas of design and implementation
Knowledge of Power BI data reporting system
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Databricks, AWS
Fluency in English and Spanish
Requisiti preferenziali
Having independently or collaboratively produced projects on ML, Deep Learning, NLP, or Generative AI solutions
Experience in project management
