CYS - GCAP Joint Venture Headquarters - Software Asset Specialist

Experteer Overview  In this role, you will support the governance, optimisation, and management of software assets across the organisation. You’ll work closely with the IT Asset Manager to execute SAM processes, ensure asset accuracy, and maintain regulatory and security compliance. The position focuses on improving software lifecycle management, rationalisation, and value from technology investments. You will contribute to process improvements and enhancements of SAM tooling and reporting within the GCAP context, at a scale that involves cross-functional collaboration.
Retribuzione / Benefits   Support the implementation and ongoing management of software asset management processes and the asset inventory
Maintain compliance with organisational, regulatory, and security standards across all software assets, including those requiring SC clearance
Monitor and optimise software utilisation, identifying opportunities for rationalisation, cost optimisation, and improved lifecycle management
Contribute to continuous process improvement, innovation, and the enhancement of SAM tooling and reporting
Responsabilità   2-5 years of experience in software asset management
Hands‑on experience with Service Now, including SAM‑related modules or workflows
ITIL Foundation desirable
