The Disaster Recovery Unit ensures ICT resilience across Generali’s infrastructure
The Disaster Recovery Unit within GOSP is seeking a technically skilled IT Disaster Recovery Specialist to strengthen the resilience of our ICT infrastructure. This role is essential for ensuring business continuity in alignment with the DORA regulation and involves designing, executing, and maintaining disaster recovery strategies across multiple layers of technology.
You’ll be part of a technically focused, cross-country team dedicated to ensuring organizational resilience.
Develop and update ICT Response and Recovery Plans (Disaster Recovery Plans) for GOSP and its customers.
Coordinate and support DR Test sessions across multiple data centers.
Manage and update DR procedures, DR mapping, and team member roles.
Lead the creation and testing of ICT Response and Recovery Plans for nine critical scenarios as defined by DORA.
Support DR-related projects including CRS applications testing and infrastructure switchover/switchback operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Information Security, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Disaster Recovery projects.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, backup systems, NAS, Linux/AIX environments, databases, cloud services, and security measures.
Experience in coordinating DR tests and managing DR documentation.
Familiarity with DORA regulation and its implications on DR planning and testing.
Fluent in English.
Soft Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and across departments.
Notes/ Preferences
Certifications in ISO 22301, Business Continuity Institute (BCI), or similar.
Experience with the management of ICT recovery and response procedure for switchover and switchback operation.
Experience in cross-country coordination and working in international environments.
