About the company
Erinaco is a boutique medical consulting firm specialising in real-world evidence (RWE) strategy, evidence generation, and medical affairs - with a particular focus on rare and respiratory diseases. We work with biotech start-ups, specialty pharma, and local affiliates of larger companies that need physician-led, scientifically rigorous support that global teams don't always provide.

What we're looking for
We're not hiring a traditional employee. We're looking for an experienced, self-driven BD professional who already operates in the pharma or biotech space - someone with a genuine network, a hunger to sell, and the credibility to open doors at Medical Affairs or Clinical Development level.
Your job is simple: bring in projects. We deliver the science.

You'll be a good fit if you
Have existing relationships in pharma/biotech - particularly in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, or Evidence & Value teams
Understand what RWE, HEOR, or medical strategy projects look like - and can have a meaningful conversation about them
Are comfortable working independently and on a results-only basis - no salary, no retainer
Are based in Europe or have strong EU market access - Italian market knowledge is a plus
Are fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage

What you'll do
Identify and approach potential clients - biotech companies, start-ups, and local/regional pharma affiliates with unmet evidence or medical affairs needs
Represent Erinaco's capabilities in early-stage discussions and connect decision-makers with our team
Support proposal framing and scoping conversations - we handle the scientific content, you connect the dots
Help expand Erinaco's visibility as a credible boutique consultancy - not just another CRO

Compensation
This is a pure success-fee arrangement. You earn a percentage of each signed contract you bring in - negotiated individually based on project size and complexity. No ceiling. If you close deals, you earn well.
