We are looking for an IT Service Configuration Management Specialist to join our international team and contribute to the governance, implementation, and continuous improvement of Service Configuration Management and CMDB practices within European institutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and maintain the Service Configuration Management practice, ensuring alignment with ITSM standards and organizational policies.
Customize, document, and continuously improve the Service Configuration Management processes to be followed across the organization.
Implement, manage, and optimize the CMDB , ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and lifecycle governance.
Oversee CMDB Data Quality Ownership , driving corrective actions and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Enforce CI lifecycle governance , ensuring proper registration, maintenance, and retirement of configuration items.
Integrate the CMDB with Change Enablement processes to ensure traceability and impact assessment.
Manage data sources , automated discovery tools, and integrations to maintain reliable and up‑to‑date CMDB information.
Create and maintain service maps , dependencies, and relationships across complex information systems.
Produce high-quality CMDB reporting , dashboards, and audit support documentation.
Work with ITSM platforms—especially Service Now —to configure, enhance, and maintain CMDB and Service Configuration Management modules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper management of IT services across their lifecycle.
Key Requirements
EQF 4 education level.
English C1 (certificate required).
5+ years of relevant IT professional experience.
2+ years of experience in similar Service Configuration Management roles.
Excellent practical knowledge of IT Service Management , particularly Service Configuration Management .
Proven experience implementing and managing CMDB in enterprise environments.
Practical experience with ITSM solutions supporting CMDB and Configuration Management.
Strong understanding of IT service lifecycle management and complex information systems interoperability.

CI lifecycle governance
CMDB–Change Enablement integration
Data source management & automated discovery
Service mapping & dependency modelling
CMDB reporting & audit support
Service Now Configuration Management & CMDB
