MSC Cruises is strengthening its Privacy & AI Compliance Function to support the increasing complexity of global privacy obligations and implementation of the EU AI Act. We are looking for an AI & Privacy Compliance Manager to lead the implementation of the AI Compliance Framework and support the Data Protection Officer in embedding privacy and AI governance across the Cruise Division.
The role combines strategic ownership and operational execution, ensuring privacy-by-design and AI governance principles are integrated into digital transformation initiatives, business processes and technology solutions across MSC Cruises.
Your Impact
Lead implementation and continuous enhancement of the Group AI Compliance Framework aligned with the EU AI Act and applicable regulations.
Support the DPO in defining and operationalizing AI governance structures and oversight mechanisms.
Own and maintain the AI inventory and coordinate AI system risk classification.
Conduct AI compliance assessments, including high-risk AI evaluations, transparency obligations and documentation requirements.
Lead AI-related DPIAs, privacy assessments and risk mitigation activities.
Provide expert guidance throughout project life cycles (design, implementation, testing and deployment).
Act as trusted advisor to business stakeholders, IT, Digital, Procurement and Legal teams.
Monitor emerging AI and privacy regulations and assess business impact.
Prepare executive reports and dashboards for senior management.
Develop AI literacy and compliance awareness initiatives.
Your Journey so far
5+ years of experience in privacy, compliance, legal, consulting or AI governance environments.
Degree in Law, Information Technology or related field;
Master degree preferred.
CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT or similar certifications strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience with GDPR and complex regulatory environments.
Experience supporting AI governance or digital transformation initiatives preferred.
Your Essentials
In-depth knowledge of GDPR and global privacy frameworks.
Strong understanding of EU AI Act requirements and AI governance principles.
Experience with AI risk classification and compliance documentation.
Experience with Service Now, One Trust or similar tools is an advantage.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Fluency in English and Italian.
Legal right to work in Italy.
