Product Developer

The Product Developer is responsible for managing the full product lifecycle, from initial concept through to final production. This role requires close collaboration with design, merchandising, and production teams to ensure that all products align with brand strategy, market expectations, and commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end product development process, from ideation through to market launch.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, merchandising, sales) to ensure alignment between product vision and business objectives.

Define and manage development roadmaps and timelines, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.

Draft and maintain technical specifications, product requirements, and documentation.

Oversee prototyping, sampling, testing, and technical validation stages.

Ensure all products meet defined quality standards, fit requirements, and target cost margins.

Act as a point of reference for assigned product categories, ensuring proper communication and file updates with the direct manager.

Identify, address, and resolve technical or process-related issues during development.

Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely and efficient product realization.

Operate within the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system to:

-Manage styles and maintain accurate and up-to-date product data-Track development progress and sample status-Input and monitor costing information-Initiate, manage, and track sample requests and approvals

Support and mentor junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.

Monitor post-launch performance and propose improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
