We are looking for an Associate Localisation Quality Manager to support Quality Managers on quality initiatives and work with translators for our top clients in the digital space. This is an internship role for a duration of 6 months.
Key responsibilities

You will support our team of Quality Managers in tasks related to linguist recruitment and selection for Translated’s clients: vetting potential profiles for new projects and clients, and coordinating their testing.
Provide support to the entire QM team for operational quality activities (data extraction, clean up and analysis, preparation of internal reports, preparation of quality auditing tasks using Translated’s tech suite, glossary maintenance). Take end-to-end ownership of assigned tasks, ensure timely and accurate execution, and propose improvements to streamline processes.
Monitor linguist performance: use Translated’s tools and data to assess linguists during a Trial Period on one or more accounts, provide feedback to QMs, and engage with linguists to boost motivation and provide feedback.
Support administrative tasks such as submitting payment requests for freelancers.

Requirements

Degree in Linguistics, Translation Studies, Language Studies, or a related field is preferred.
Understanding of translation, localization, or linguistic quality assurance.
Familiarity with CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools and other translation software.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new challenges.
Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
Excellent computer and web skills with a focus on G-suite and Google Sheets.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
