French Patent Language Lead

Experteer Overview In this role you drive high‑quality English–French patent translation and review for complex legal materials, ensuring accuracy and client value. You collaborate with Quality, Squads, Talent, and vendors to uphold translation standards and budget. You’ll manage linguistic assets, support on‑boarding of French legal suppliers, and lead linguistic issue resolution. This position sits at the intersection of language, law, and production within a global, quality‑driven operation.

Retribuzione / Benefits Translate, post‑edit, or review patent documents English French Plan  and perform LQAs with Quality and Squads; drive arbitration process

Maintain French glossaries and translation memories

Monitor translation spend to stay within budget

Support Quality in reviewing IRB forms and conduct RCAs for legal translation

Onboard and support new French legal suppliers

Handle queries from French resources related to legal production

Lead linguistic issue resolution in business review meetings

Create/update style guides for English French Assist  assessment of new French legal resources across content areas

Recommend French legal resources based on quality, capacity, and client needs

Conduct monthly capacity planning for French legal resources

Responsabilità3+ years of English French patent translation experience

BA/BS degree or equivalent

Native‑level French and fluent English Knowledge of European Patent Convention law Familiarity with CAT tools and QA tools

Understanding of the language services industry and trends

MT knowledge is a plus Technical background in electricity or chemistry is a plus
