ABOUT EXPERIMENTAL ROMA
Opening in mid-2026 on Via Ludovisi, just off the legendary Via Veneto, Experimental Roma will be a vibrant and cinematic new destination from Experimental.
Housed in a former bank, the hotel has been transformed by interior designer Rodolphe Parente into a space that embodies the essence of la dolce vita: elegant, timeless, and irresistibly Italian.
The property will feature 82 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, and a spectacular rooftop with a suspended pool offering breathtaking views over the magnificent cityscape of Rome.

ABOUT THE JOB
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the hotel’s day-to-day operational efficiency and the upkeep of the property, in compliance with current safety regulations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Site Inspection

Regularly conduct full inspections of the hotel, restaurant, and kitchen, identifying areas of current and future maintenance work (painting, repairs, plumbing, electricity, etc.), as well as ensuring the proper functioning and overall presentation of the venue.
Be the main contact for all maintenance related issues.
Spot potential areas of improvement and take proactive measures to make improvements.
Regularly inspect all the emergency and safety tools, ensuring proper functioning.
Work with management for Health & Safety compliance.

Operations

Be responsible for the overall maintenance of the venue’s facilities and equipment.
Manage emergency maintenance needs, acting quickly to resolve issues.
Co-ordinate with management when to schedule repairs.
Create/maintain routine maintenance schedules.

Contractors & Supplier’s Relation

Help manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
Be aware of all the maintenance contracts in place with the relevant companies.
Help arrange and coordinate quotations from suppliers when major repairs and renovations are required.
Work with management to schedule and coordinate contractors and service providers.
Ensure the repairs conducted by contractors are done properly.

Stock & Reporting

Maintain records of all machinery and equipment including manufacturers details, specifications, and manuals.
Control and monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and ensure adequate stock.
Order all maintenance supplies.

ABOUT YOU

Experience in a similar role.
Proactive, organized, and rigorous.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations.
Proficiency with electrical, plumbing, painting, and Health & Safety standards.
You speak Italian and fluent English; a third language (French) would be an advantage.
