Description The Global Services NPDI Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating New Product Development and Introduction (NPDI) initiatives that enable the successful launch, service readiness, and global deployment of Vertiv products and service offerings.

This role partners with Global Services, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and regional service organizations to ensure that service requirements are incorporated into product development, design transfer, and launch activities. The Project Manager provides end-to-end project leadership, governance, and execution oversight across Hardware + Services NPDI and Service-Only NPDI initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, execution-oriented leader who can manage complex, cross-functional programs, identify risks, drive accountability, and translate product and technology initiatives into scalable global service capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
1. Global Services NPDI Project Leadership Lead assigned Hardware + Services NPDI and Service-Only NPDI projects from intake through launch and service readiness. Establish project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria. Coordinate cross-functional teams across Global Services, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and regional organizations. Ensure projects align with business priorities, service strategy, and global deployment requirements. Manage multiple concurrent projects across Vertiv’s business units and product portfolios.

Drive project execution and accountability across geographically distributed teams.
2. NPDI Governance and Stage-Gate Management Lead Global Services participation in NPDI governance and stage-gate activities. Ensure service requirements, risks, dependencies, and readiness activities are identified and addressed throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate project reviews, status updates, and gate readiness assessments. Track required deliverables and ensure appropriate Global Services assessments are completed. Partner with BU PMO leads and Product Managers to align project priorities, ownership, and governance expectations.

Escalate risks, issues, and decisions requiring leadership attention.
3. Service Readiness and Launch Execution Develop and manage service readiness plans for new products, technologies, and service offerings. Coordinate readiness activities involving technical documentation, service procedures, training, tools, spare parts, systems, and regional capabilities. Partner with NPDI Engineers and regional service teams to identify and close readiness gaps. Ensure service deliverables are aligned with product launch and deployment timelines. Support design transfer, product introduction, and global service implementation initiatives.

Establish launch readiness criteria and monitor progress through implementation and stabilization.
4. Portfolio and Resource Management Support the evaluation and prioritization of new NPDI project intake across the four business units. Coordinate with BU PMO leads to assess project scope, service involvement, resource requirements, and timing. Maintain accurate project status, milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource information. Identify capacity constraints and coordinate resource planning with Global Services leadership. Support portfolio reporting and provide visibility into project health, progress, and emerging risks.

Contribute to continuous improvement of Global Services PMO processes, standards, and operating models.
