Offer Description Food supply chains are exposed to several environmental and social challenges, and therefore the sustainable transition is of paramount importance in this context. Alternative Food Networks are usually considered as a more sustainable alternative to conventional supply chains, but this needs to be demonstrated through adequate measures. The goal of the research project is to understand the governance, the process and the tools for sustainability performance in management in the context of both Alternative Food Networks and conventional supply chains.
The research will conduct case studies in both alternative food networks and conventional supply chains, involving representative actors at different stages of the value chain.
Oral test aimed at ascertaining candidates’ aptitude and suitability to carry out the research activity covered by the Fellowship, as well as at assessing their knowledge of English and/or other languages relevant to the research activities to be performed (up to 50 points)
Relevance and pertinence of the publications, theses and scientific products attached to the research programme covered by the Fellowship (up to 20 points)
Relevance and pertinence of previous research activities and work experience, if any, in relation to the research activity covered by the Fellowship (up to 20 points)
Relevance and pertinence of their study programme to the research programme covered by the Fellowship (up to 10 points)
