We are seeking a motivated candidate to join a research project focused on the design, synthesis, and advanced characterization of innovative porphyrin systems with tailored optoelectronic properties.
Development of porphyrin-based materials for high-tech and biomedical applications, including:
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) for tumor treatment
Antimicrobial photodynamic therapy (aPDT) as a strategy to address antibiotic resistance
🧪 What the Candidate Will Do
Synthesize and functionalize novel porphyrin structures
Perform advanced physicochemical characterization (CV, DPV, UV‑Vis, fluorescence, NMR, mass spectrometry)
Contribute to molecular design strategies for application-oriented materials
Develop critical analytical skills linking structure–property relationships to real-world applications
