At Shakers, we’re looking for a RF / SDR Security Research Engineer to join a specialized Cyber Electromagnetic Research team working on advanced Radio Frequency (RF) and Software Defined Radio (SDR) security research.
This is a hands-on R&D role, focused on experimenting with RF protocols, identifying vulnerabilities and building prototypes using SDR technologies. You’ll work closely with senior researchers in a lab-driven environment.
🔧 What you’ll do
R&D activities related to RF and SDR security Analysis of RF protocols, vulnerabilities and attack vectors
Design and development of RF prototypes using Software Defined Radio
Implementation of SDR solutions using Gnu Radio
Support research activities related to electromagnetic and wireless security
Technical documentation and research reporting
🎯 What we’re looking for
Experience in RF security OR SDR-based security research
Hands-on experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) and Gnu Radio
Programming experience in Python and/or C/C++
Familiarity with RF lab instrumentation
Solid fundamentals in:
Network security
Applied cryptography
Wireless protocols
Good level of English
Research mindset and ability to work in an R&D environment
