Opening of a 2-year Postdoctoral position at University of Rome Tor Vergata
Research activity :
The successful applicant will join the Statistical Mechanics group at the Physics Department of University of Rome Tor Vergata, under my supervision. The expected research activity will address the agenda of the PRIN 2022 project ReNet, focusing on the development of statistical physics methods for ensemble representation of graphs, as well as machine learning methods based on graph neural networks, with applications to the reconstruction of complex networks in economics and finance.

Profile :
Applicants must have expertise in physics, mathematics, computer science or economics. The ideal candidate should have a multidisciplinary background, solid knowledge of quantitative methodologies for the analysis of empirical network data, experience in the development of mathematical models and inference methods, familiarity with softwares for data analysis (e.g. Python, Matlab).

Formal requirements
Degree in: physics, mathematics, computer science, ecomnomics

Knowledge of both written and spoken English
