Trial Development Specialist

At KWS Vegetables Italy, we are looking for a passionate and results-driven Trial Development Specialist to join our team in the Lazio/Campania area. This is a full-time, unlimited contract position with a hybrid work mode, offering the opportunity to contribute to innovative agricultural solutions in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Your responsibilities

Conducting product performance trials to assess the added value of new varieties.
Collecting, analyzing, and reporting quantitative and qualitative trial data.
Supporting the Product Development Manager with data-driven proposals for PLC advancement.
Independently managing and executing field trials in your territory, in coordination with distributors, agents, and the crop trial plan.
Designing trial plans and protocols, ensuring high-quality execution and data completeness.
Using tools like Mercado for data analysis and reporting.
Collaborating with sales, breeding, and product management teams to gather market insights.
Providing expert product information and cultivation advice.
Preparing elevation meetings and contributing to successful product introductions.

Your Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or Horticulture (minimum requirement).
Experience in the vegetable seed industry is preferred.
Solid background in product development and trial evaluation.
Fluent in English and Italian mandatory (spoken and written).
Strong technical and analytical skills.
A proactive team player with excellent communication abilities.
Self-organized and result-oriented.
