Specific duties of the researcher (job description):
Type of teaching duties: The teaching activity will be performed within the courses belonging to the Scientific disciplinary sector PHYS-01/A- experimental physics, and, in particular, will be based on the teaching plan of the physics courses of the Politecnico of Bari, held in Bari and Taranto and in tutoring and supporting activities for students for a total of 350 hours per year.
Maximum number of publications to be submitted for the evaluation: 12 (twelve)
Method of ascertaining the degree of knowledge of English: English language proficiency will be assessed based on the English-language publications submitted. The committee may also decide to assess the candidate's English language proficiency through an in-person interview.
Campo principale di ricerca: Experimental Astro-particle physics, with a focus on gamma, cosmic ray and neutrino physics. within national or international collaborations.
1) Advanced knowledge of experimental gamma ray and/or cosmic ray and/or neutrino physics.
2) Knowledge and experience on the development of instruments and data analysis applied to astrophysics and/or neutrino experiments.
Esperienza di ricerca richieste: Consolidated experiences in the development of data analysis algorithms for cosmic-rays, gamma-rays and/or neutrino physics experiments, talks to national or international workshops or conferences and an active participation at the institutional activities of the physics department and. An elevated quality of the scientific production is required, considering the production intensity and the temporal continuity.
