Your work will help align biodiversity, climate, One Health and food systems toward resilient, forest-based livelihoods.
Plan and lead multidisciplinary teams and cross-divisional groups to advance programmes and policies
Analyse global and country needs to inform FAO Strategic Framework and work plans
Develop tools, methodologies and monitoring frameworks for evidence-based strategies
Provide technical and policy advisory services to Members and Decentralized Offices
Coordinate capacity development, knowledge sharing and learning activities for member nations
Represent FAO in international meetings, build partnerships and negotiate agreements
Lead resource mobilization and project formulation for forest foods and wildlife initiatives
Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in relevant fields
Ten years of relevant experience in forestry, sustainable wildlife management, biodiversity conservation or related areas
Proficiency in English; working knowledge of another FAO official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish)
