Position Overview The Vice President of Sales will lead all commercial activities across the organization and report directly to the CEO. This individual will be responsible for building and managing the sales organization, developing a scalable commercial strategy, driving enterprise customer acquisition, and creating the operational rigor necessary to achieve aggressive revenue targets. The ideal candidate combines deep industry expertise in leather, synthetic materials, textiles, performance materials, footwear, fashion, or related industries with a proven ability to scale revenue in complex B2 B environments.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic thinking and active participation in customer development, deal execution, forecasting, and team management.
Key Responsibilities Own company-wide revenue growth strategy and execution, establishing clear sales processes, KPIs, forecasting systems, and accountability structures. Develop relationships with executive decision makers across target accounts. Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement to a closed deal to repeat orders. Negotiate commercial agreements and strategic partnerships. Directly manage and mentor sales team, creating career development paths and performance management frameworks.
Drive weekly and monthly operating cadences focused on pipeline health, conversion rates, customer engagement, and revenue attainment. Work closely with product development, R&D, and leadership teams to align customer needs with product roadmap decisions. Create a culture of execution, urgency, and disciplined follow-through. Qualifications Significant experience selling leather, synthetic leather, coated fabrics or textiles. 7+ years of B2 B enterprise sales experience.
Proven success selling hard tech into complex enterprise sales cycles involving product qualification, development, and commercialization. Experience selling into both SMBs and enterprise clients in fashion, luxury or footwear. Demonstrated success leading and scaling commercial teams. Fluent in English.
