Senior Consulting Engineer

Experteer Overview As a Consulting Engineer in MongoDB Professional Services, you help customers realize value from MongoDB across diverse use cases and industries. You work within a cross-functional delivery team to design, implement, and optimize solutions, including cloud migrations and modernizations. You’ll train customers, influence product direction with field experience, and represent MongoDB as a trusted advisor. The role combines deep technical work with active customer management in a high-growth, globally distributed company.

Retribuzione / Benefits Contribute to customer implementations across the application lifecycle

Deliver customer training for architect, developer, and operations roles

Collaborate with delivery teams including project managers and account teams

Build MongoDB expertise and act as a trusted advisor to customers

Partner with Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap

Responsabilità2+ years of software development/consulting/support experience

Experience with enterprise-scale software architectures and deployment/operations

Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, C++, C#, Python, Node.js, Ruby, Perl, Scala, Go)

Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQLFamiliarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning;
Windows tuning is a plus Willingness to travel for short customer site visits

Strong English and local language skills as necessary
