BUILD BEYOND POSSIBLE, WITH ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
Who we are looking for:
As a Robot Programmer you will play a key role in validating, testing, and supporting the software used in Caracol’s additive manufacturing systems. You will work closely with th e Customer Success, Engineering and R&D tea ms, helping troubleshoot technical issues and ensuring our customers achieve optimal performance from our technologies.
This role combine s technical troubleshooting, software validation, and customer-facing suppo rt, offering exposure to cutting-edge automation and additive manufacturing systems.
Few examples of responsibilities:
Perform software testing and validation on Caracol’s additive manufacturing software, ensuring correct functionality and performance
Execute hands-on robotic 3D printing tests to validate toolpath planning, slicing processes, and printing quality on large-scale AM systems
Help technical support and field engineering teams in troubleshooting Level 2 software-related issues, occasionally interacting with customers
Provide internal training and guidance to support teams to help them handle common Level 1 technical requests
Collaborate with R&D and software teams to report bugs, suggest improvements, and collect feedback from real production use
Ideal Background
Technical diploma (ITS) in Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
Up to 2 years of experience in a similar role within industrial automation or robotics sector. Experience in Additive Manufacturing is a strong plus
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.G. Python, JavaScript, or Bash)
Experience with industrial robots and basic knowledge of robot programming, preferably with KUKA, ABB or Universal Robots
Valid driving license and own vehicle required
Fluency in English and Italian
