Join us as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in Space. We are looking for a motivated and skilled Satcom Software Engineer to join our engineering team.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, and has at least 2–3 years of professional experience in full-stack software development. The candidate will contribute to the design, development, integration, and maintenance of software solutions for satellite communication systems, working in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications for SATCOM systems.
Develop modern front-end applications.
Implement scalable and high-performance back-end services.
Design and manage databases.
Collaborate with system engineers to integrate software with networking and communication infrastructures.
Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
Manage source code, CI/CD pipelines, and version control using Git Lab.
Produce and maintain software documentation, preferably following ECSS (European Cooperation for Space Standardization) standards.
Participate in software testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in full-stack software development.
Strong knowledge of: React.js
Vue.js
FastAPI
InfluxDB
PostgreSQL Good understanding of computer networking principles and cyber security best practices.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies: Docker
Kubernetes
Experience using Git Lab, including source code management and CI/CD workflows.
Experience in preparing and maintaining software documentation; familiarity with ECSS standards is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Linux-based development environments.
Familiarity with Agile software development.
Understanding of Dev Ops practices and automated deployment pipelines.
Personal Skills Self-motivated and proactive.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and engineering challenges.
