Rod Room- Day Shift - Onsite

Summary:

Responsible for the manufacturing of rod sleeving

Essential Functions:

Operate computational device

Hand-string sleeving onto mandrels

Coat rods with appropriate materials

Transport products

Keep work area neat and orderly

Perform duties in a safe manner

Demonstrate commitments to workplace safety by consistently utilizing required Personal Protective Equipment and following all established safety protocols

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively

Motor Coordination Skills and Manual Dexterity Able to work independently and on a team Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

Excellent multitasking abilities

Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Previous experience in a similar manufacturing or machine operation role preferred required

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Ability to push and pull up to 30 lbs Ability to bend, twist, kneel, stretch, crouch, and stoop

Ability to reach in front of you, above head level, and below waist level

Ability to use both hands to grasp, handle, and palpate

Ability to see and feel defects in material
